Local Tool Calculations
Frame timestamps, mouse movement timestamps, reaction rounds, conversions, and screen information are processed in the browser for the active page. The default site does not require an account or send those live result arrays to an FPS Tester application backend. Reloading or leaving a page normally clears its in-memory test session.
Local Storage
FPS Tester may use local storage for a color-theme preference so the next page can open in the chosen light or dark appearance. The stored value is a simple preference and not an account identifier. You can clear it through browser site-data controls.
Analytics and Clarity
The source includes configuration hooks for Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. Both are disabled by default and inject no scripts when disabled or when an ID is missing. If a production operator enables either service, that service may process usage and device information under its own terms, and deployment-specific consent or disclosure should be updated as required.
Hosting and Network Logs
Like most internet sites, the CDN, hosting provider, security layer, and network infrastructure may process IP addresses, request paths, timestamps, user-agent data, and diagnostic logs to deliver and protect the service. For that reason, this policy does not claim that absolutely nothing is collected anywhere in the delivery chain.
Contact and Changes
Information you voluntarily send through a configured contact channel is used to read and respond to that message. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information. This policy may change when the deployment, analytics configuration, or legal requirements change; the date above identifies this version.
